What Is SonoKi?
SonoKi is a non-invasive tuning fork modality that assists to reduce body pain and balance emotions in the body or in the biofield.
- The biofield (energy field) has long been known to extend from 5 to 6 feet to the left and right, front and back of the body.
- When the tuning fork encounters an emotion in the biofield the sound of the tuning fork changes.
- The tone may sound high, harsh, sharp, dull or low. Usually a tuning fork will vibrate for quite some time, when balancing dissonance it may stop quickly.
- When the energetic blockage/emotion balances, the sound of the tuning fork will have a clear and harmonious tone.

How does SonoKi Work?
Have you heard someone say they always attract the same type of person in a relationship? Have you tried to change a habit and struggle to stay on track?
There’s a reason for this and it’s not because they or you are weak or inadequate.
The early experiences mould who we think we are, creating our identity and like a magnet we attract the same type of situation over and over.
- Say someone grew up in a family where it was challenging to be heard, then they go to school.
- The teacher is frustrated and feels overworked, they dismiss them what they’re saying.
- This young person does not feel heard, listened to or valued in the two big areas of life.
- Now comes teenage years. Trying to fit in but laughed at by kids that seem cooler.
- Next, further study or the workplace. They probably won’t speak up being too afraid of humiliation or rejection.
- Feeling their emotional needs will never be met flows into all relationships.
During a session the tuning fork dissolves the emotion attached to memories, like warm water over a sugar cube.
Without the ‘charge’ of the emotions, limiting beliefs change. Self-confidence may increase and now it’s possible to discover who you are not who you were told you are.

How will you Benefit From SonoKi?
The body and the biofield holds the energy of current or past stress. When this stress is not addressed it may lead to body pain, illness, insomnia, lack of focus, low energy, poor circulation, increased substance use, a change in emotional responses, appetite changes or anxiety.
Tuning the body means reducing the stress from varied experiences; poverty, any change in financial circumstances, a dysfunctional marriage or family, divorce, dissatisfying job or career, parenting, caring for ageing parents/family, there are many sources of stress in modern society.
Body pain, emotional overwhelm, anxiety and relationship dissonance in any dynamic are all linked to stress. Reducing stress assists us to feel balanced, confident and capable. Life will always have challenges, however if we are carrying emotional baggage from the past it can feel as though current demands are overwhelming and more challenging to resolve.
Napoleon Hill wrote the bestselling book, “Think and Grow Rich” in 1937. In this book the author talks at length about attracting what we want by being in a positive state of mind. It’s important for our health and wealth that we can reach harmony.
- Tuning forks use pure vibration at a high frequency placed on the body or to restore our biofield, this can lead to reduced anxiety and stress.
- When you feel balanced rather than stressed or anxious dealing with life’s challenges takes less time and energy.

What Happens During Your Session?
Amanda will ask you a couple of questions.
What brought you to the session? You may have had a personal recommendation, read an article or listened to a podcast.
What do you want from the session? There may be a repeated life experience, emotions such as anxiety or overwhelm that you’d like to address.
Maybe you have no idea, you’re just curious. There’s no right or wrong answer! (There is no need to reveal personal details or stories)
What happens next?
- Amanda will show you the tuning forks and start the session.
- You lie down on a sound lounge, the lights are dim, aromatherapy oils are diffused, light meditation music plays through noise cancelling headphones (optional) and the temperature perfect, there are blankets and knee bolsters too.
- You are welcome to ask questions during the session and water or bathroom breaks are completely ok! All you need to do is breathe and relax
What happens if you are booked for a Distance Session?
After booking your distance session you will receive an email with a Google Meet link.
At the appointment time you will join Amanda on the call and the session will run as described above.
You may lie or sit in a comfortable position in the comfort of your home (or current location).
We recommend wearing headphones during the sound session and checking your internet connection prior to the appointment.
The session will not commence if you are driving or exercising.
Post Session Care
- Drink plenty of water as clearing stress from the body may cause the body to release lactic acid.
- To further assist this process soak your feet in or have a bath with SonoKi Magnesium (Epsom salts) to ease body aches or pain and relieve inflammation.
