Our women-focused sound therapy sessions are designed to provide holistic healing and support for various stages of life and challenges unique to women.
These sessions use the healing vibrations of tuning forks to promote physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
- Body Pain Relief: This tuning fork therapy session offers relief from pelvic pain, period pain, endometriosis, and other forms of body pain. The soothing frequencies help reduce inflammation, tension, and discomfort, supporting your body’s natural healing process.
- Perimenopause, Menopause, and Post-menopause: Experience relief from the symptoms associated with these transitional phases. The gentle vibrations of tuning forks work to balance hormonal fluctuations, regulate emotions and ease physical discomfort. With busy modern lives we need to take care of our health to reduce inflammation which is an underlying factor in many conditions such as gastrointestinal disorders, autoimmune diseases, skin conditions, disease and high blood pressure.
- Postpartum Healing: This session focuses on the new mother’s overall recovery, addressing physical aches, emotional balance, and mental clarity during the postpartum period. Emotions and stress due to work, family or health during pregnancy can impact the postpartum experience. Sound therapy gently supports healing and relaxation during this vital time.
- Relationship Recovery: Whether you’re navigating separation, divorce, family conflict, or workplace challenges, this session promotes emotional healing and self-awareness. Through sound therapy, you’ll gain deeper insight and find comfort as you process and recover from these challenging experiences.
What happens in a tuning fork session?
Each session is tailored to your unique needs, offering a safe and supportive environment for healing and renewal.
- We discuss your needs, the depth of information you disclose is entirely your choice. Sound therapy is not a talk therapy this step is to understand your perspective and the focus of the session.
- Amanda will show you the tuning forks and sound lounge, explain the session process and you have the opportunity to ask questions.
- Next you will lie on the sound lounge, you will be offered a bolster, light cover or blanket.
- The room will be dimly lit, for a completely immersive experience you can wear sound proof headphones. Alternatively you can experience the session listening to the tuning forks.
- During the session if you need a glass of water, a blanket, bathroom break or want to ask a question please let us know, if you are comfortable the session benefits are enhanced!
- We will gently tell you the session has ended and offer a glass of water.
- Again you will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the experience.

How many sessions will you need?
All sessions can be experienced as a singular booking or as a series of six sessions. Making time once a week for the sound sessions allows your body to release stress, tension, emotions, pain or discomfort at a pace that suits you. Consistent sessions help the body to recalibrate into a new way of being gently and calmly, you deserve to live in tune with your natural rhythms and feel worthy.
After seeing Amanda for 6 sessions I was amazed at the reduction in my anxiety levels and the improvement in my flexibility. As all of the muscles around my torso released (poses, diaphragm, and all around the ribs) I can take deeper breaths, and can move more deeply into yoga poses I never thought I would get into. Amanda’s calm voice and demeanour along with some excellent insights and the sound work provide noticeable benefits. I wouldn’t hesitate to see her again.
